13.5 pounds and 14 inches in just 3 weeks!!!!

To say I'm thrilled with the results would be an understatement!

I hadn't been feeling good in my own skin for quite some time. While I'd never had a fabulous figure, I'd been particularly unhappy about my weight for the past number of years. On a good day, I'd say: "Not bad for a 50 year old who has had two kids!" but on the bad days (and there have been lots of those) I'd spend way too much time worrying about what I was going to wear. Fussing over outfits, worrying that a sweater would be too clingy and show off my back fat or too tight across the tummy, or those jeans would show my muffin top. Well, I have to say I love the way I look and feel now.

Tons of energy, clothes that fit (well - except for all of my dress pants - I've gone down 2, and in some brands, 3 full sizes!) and I'm feeling so much more confident. Shopping for new clothes has become quite an experience - I can now try on and feel confident in styles, that just a month ago, I never would have dreamed of wearing.

One of the most interesting and important things this accomplishment has taught me is that when I keep a commitment to myself, I become more confident and trusting of myself to achieve what I set out to do. It's much more than just achieving the weight loss….that's been an important goal to me for the past number of years. What's even more important is the commitment I've made to myself and my ability to get there. It's taught me I have a lot more drive and self-discipline than I had been giving myself credit for. What a boost to my self-esteem!

I have been overweight for many years. I had had a visit with my doctor, and I was told that I had to lose weight, for my health. My blood pressure was high, and I was pre-diabetic. I also had some ongoing issues with my knees because of the weight that I was carrying and, therefore, I was taking painkillers on a regular basis.

I heard about Ideal Protein through a colleague at work, and my wife knew a lady, Denise, who was opening a clinic, Ideal Journey. I had tried various diets in the past, but never followed through. I thought I would just go to the information night and see what Ideal Journey was all about.

Here I am ... five weeks later ... 33.6lbs lighter ... no longer taking painkillers for my knees ... blood pressure is normal ... and my energy levels are better than they have been in years!

I started on Ideal Protein not for a diet, but for a life style change. As a teenager being over weight its a struggle; it affects your life in so many aspects. I'm a singer and a performer and often I'm told that I have the voice to do the part, but not the body I don't look the part, I'm not skinny enough to play that part or be that person.

I started IP in January and I’m down 17 lbs and 21 inches.

After the first week on IP I could feel the change, not only was the weight and inches coming off but I was sleeping better, had energy to burn and felt mentally like a cloud had lifted. In support of my dear friend Denise Bracken and her very successful journey to losing weight, I decided to try the Ideal Protein weight loss program. In doing so, I have learned that it doesn't matter how much weight you have to lose, it's about what is comfortable for you. For me it was the idea of losing 25 pounds. After five weeks, I have lost 15 pounds and I feel great!
